2024 Macdonald Minor Ball Association Late Registration and Refund Policy
Late Registration
Late registrations will only be accepted provided there is room on a team for additional players. Should a late registration be accepted, the player will be placed on the team with the lowest number of participants, consideration to community of play, friends on the team will not be given to late registration.
Late registrations are subject to a non-refundable $30 late registration fee.
Refunds
Non-Medical Refunds
Macdonald Minor Ball Association (MMBA) acknowledges that there are situations where a refund of registration fees is appropriate. However, we need to ensure MMBA does not incur a financial loss as a result of any fees that we have already paid on behalf of that player. We also need to respect the time invested by our volunteers in managing our registrations, and in order to provide a fair balance between individual choice and the interests of MMBA, we have established the following refund policy:
All refunds are subject to a refund fee of $30.
For players who make the AAA Winnipeg Wolves teams, the fees they have paid to MMBA will be transferred to Winnipeg South as partial payment of their AAA team fees. For players who transfer to play for a different AAA team, MMBA will refund registration fees less a $30 refund upon confirmation the transfer has been approved by Baseball Manitoba.
Medical Refunds
Players withdrawing for medical reasons as a result of injuries whether related to ball or otherwise will be subject to the same policy as non-medical refunds. The board can consider partial refunds related to medical conditions upon a written request by the player with supporting medical documentation.
Deadline to Request Refunds
No refund requests, medical or non-medical, will be considered after May 31.
Exclusions to the Refund Policy
Players that receive a long-term suspension or that are dismissed from a team due to inappropriate behavior are not entitled a refund for any reason.
This policy may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances (such as pandemic related shutdowns)
