SOFTBALL REGISTRATION OPEN FEBRUARY 3 - 29, 2024

Registration needs to be completed by new and returning families.

Please take a few moments to read this important registration information to make this process as seamless as possible.

 *La Salle Residents must pay a patronage fee to the Caisse Community Centre of $60/family. For more information on the patronage fee go to Caisse Community Centre

 


Softball Season 2024

 

  • Black Pants  

  • $50 deposit will be required for all jerseys with a post dated cheque on Jersey & Equipment Pickup Night (see date and time below)

The Apparel store(s) will be available from February 3 - 29th and all items purchased will be available for pick up at the Jersey & Equipment Pickup Night (see below). 

 


Softball Evaluations: 

 

An email will be sent to all participants confirming evaluation times and groupings closer to the date

U11: 

  • Saturday, March 16th - 1:00pm - 4:00pm @ Caisse Community Centre (La Salle) - PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ONLY

  • Sunday, March 17th - 12:00pm - 2:00pm @ Home Run Sports Training Centre (905 King Edward Street) - hitting and fielding

U13 & U15:

  • Saturday, March 16th - 1:00pm - 4:00pm @ Caisse Community Centre (La Salle) - PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ONLY

  • Saturday, April 6th - 3:30pm - 7:30pm @ Home Run Sports Training Centre (905 King Edward Street) - hitting and fielding

U17:

  • Saturday, March 16th - 1:00pm - 4:00pm @ Caisse Community Centre (La Salle) - PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ONLY

  • Due to lower registration numbers is this age group, evaluations may not be required.  If we have enough numbers for two teams, we will be in contact and put an evaluation time together

Tues Apr 16 & Apr 23 - Softball Umpire Clinic 6:30-8:30 @ Sanford

Wed Apr 17 - Jersey Hand out and Apparel Pick Up Night @ La Salle ($50 Cheque Deposit Required per Jersey)

Sun Apr 21 - Softball Coaches Clinic 8am-4pm @ La Salle

Wed May 15- Player Commitment to Provincial Championships Due

Typical Nights of Play During Season:

 

Additional games may be scheduled on Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings. Additional weekend practices at coach’s discretion

 

U9 - Tuesday/Thursday

U11 - Monday/Wednesday

U13 - Tuesday/Thursday

U15 - Monday/Wednesday

U17 - Tuesday/Thursday

U19 - Monday/Wednesday

 


Easy Steps to Register:

 

  1. Setup your Login Account as a Main Contact

  2. Setup your family members in your profile

  3. Choose your "player packages"

  4. Registration Fee

  5. Patronage Fee for your local community center (if applicable)

  6. Volunteer Bond: La Salle Community Center has a $300 Volunteer bond to be returned after volunteering, or you can opt out with a $200 payment to the community center. 

  7. Review of Waivers

  8. Parent/Guardian Information

  9. Questions to Answer

  10. Review pricing

  11. Submit Registration! 

 

Note:  

  • If you are unable to register online please contact the Registrar.

  • Macdonald Minor Ball Association believes that no player should be deprived the opportunity to play due to financial considerations. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. More information about KidSport can be found here.

    • Please contact the Registrar for help in completing the application and to obtain a signature.
